Up River Cafe, 37 Main Street, Westerly, Rhode Island 02891…Eat Here

Rhode Island is a nice place to visit even if only for a leisurely meal at the Up River Cafe in Westerly. There are also a bunch of quaint shops and other restaurants to choose from in the Westerly area. Up River Cafe’s Butternut Squash Soup was outstanding with just the right savory blend of spices. Their entrees were inventive and fresh with interesting combinations of ingredients. My husband had Encrusted Red Snapper and said it was delicious. Their bread was homemade and I could not stop eating it. A few small souffle dishes with different flavors of creme brulee was flavorful for dessert.

We ate there on a brisk, windy winter night with sleet, so being indoors watching the river glow as it moved was memorable and their ambiance was nice but the noise level a bit loud. When heading back to Rhode Island, we would eat here again. I would rate the Up River Cafe a 4 out of 5 with 5 being the best restaurants I have ever eaten at in my life

    Replace

switch covers for light switches and outlets that are rusted or cracked by purchasing new, neutral colors at your local home store. Why bother? A buyer might translate a lack of minor repairs into a question as to whether the seller has done any needed major repairs on your home. This lack of attention can be enough to send buyers out your door to other homes in your neighborhood listed for sale. At this other home, the sellers paid less than $100 to replace worn out light switch and outlet covers, so buyers would realize their attention to detail as homeowners. Buyers have numerous choices in the real estate marketplace, so do some simple things to increase the likelihood that buyers will want to buy your home instead of a competitor’s home.
