Walk into here and you will learn their coffee is “fresh-roasted coffee daily.” You will be pleased with the deep-bodied, fresh flavor of their coffee and assorted other drinks including teas, iced coffees, and other coffeehouse fare. There are treats for you to eat along with your drink of choice including but not limited to biscotti. Baristas are friendly and their ambiance is contemporary yet welcoming. I felt as if I had entered a place of solitude even if just for a few minutes while I was not driving on I-95 or Virginia Highway 3 this morning.

I ordered their iced lemon pound cake and it was perfectly moist yet not too sweet along with their cafe au lait. Their drinks come in three sizes and for those who want flavored syrups added to their coffee, there are plenty to choose from. Today they even had a trivia question of the day.

This area really needed a great coffee shop and now they have one with Blackstone Coffee Company. Their hours are: Monday through Thursday from 6am-3pm, Friday from 6am-7pm, and Saturday from 7am-5pm. Sundays they are closed. Their website is: http://www.blackstonebeans.com

Apple pie, iced tea, greek pita sandwiches, marinated rotisserie chicken, italian and greek specialties are just the beginning for the Montclair Fmaily Restaurant’s menu. They also serve charbroiled burgers and homemade soups plus egg and omelettes, pancakes and eggs benedict for breakfast.  Their pies are fabulous and worth eating even after a full meal.

Their restaurant is open from 7am until at least 9pm everyday. So the next time you are stuck in traffic on Interstate 95, get off of the freeway and eat a meal at the Montclair Family Restaurant at 234 North Exit 152 B towards Mannassas and the restaurant is only a half-mile off of I-95.
