Every time I return here, I’m impressed with the consistent quality and taste of their food products. Today I had a breakfast slider on their dinner roll with egg and melted cheese for a modest $2.47. I ordered to go a bread pudding for $2.97 and a bohemian bar (shortbread and pecan cookie/bar) for $2.97. For sausage lovers, try their sausage kolache for $1.87 either spicy or mild and with cheese if you prefer. other items include: apple fritters, monkey pie with cream cheese icing, banana bread, kolaches, poppy rolls, nut rolls and hamburger/sandwich rolls. Doug told me about how much time and attention went into making their dough the best. Once you’ve tasted their dough, you won’t want another supermarket dinner roll or hamburger bun.
Their in-house espresso bar features “locally roasted espresso beans” according to their brochure and each one cost a reasonable $2.47 prepared fresh for you. For the frozen koffee drink fans, order a frappalache. They cater and delivery, so call 540-322-1727 for details. Visit their website at: http://www.KolacheHouseBakery.com . Oh, no! These pictures have left me with a sudden disdain for the oatmeal I just thought I “enjoyed.”
