Every time I visit here, I leave with new knowledge. To continue my learning, I typed in their website:http://www.blackstonecoffee.com . The personalization available at an independent coffee shop brings new meaning to the word community; you’re not just another customer.
Blackstone Coffee Company has homemade Moon pies in two flavors. I chose their biscotti(almond; other flavors available individually or in gift packs), but Blackstone Coffee also carries cinnamon rolls, muffins and other treats to add a good mix to your freshly roasted coffee drink or tea of choice.
On Sundays, their store opens at 7am and closes at 9pm, so while you’re making a stop at the grocery store or other neighboring shops, stop and indulge in a coffee drink and sweet as a treat. Other Days Hours: Monday through Thursday from 6am-10pm, Friday from 6am-11pm, and Saturday from 7am-11pm. Their phone number is 540-479-1355. Brunch served Saturdays and Sundays (eggs, french toast, eggs chesapeake (without ham but with two crabcakes instead)) in addition to their regular menu of sliders, hormone-free burgers, salads, wings, nachos, homemade mac and cheese, chili, personal pizzas, sandwiches and four types of fries. Wandering in to this knit and crochet shop in Maple Grove, I was immediately taken aback by the sheer amount of their yarn, needles, hooks, magazines, books, and notions. They have a discounted yarns section where I found Debbie Bliss 100% organic cotton in the solid colors of brown, teal and orange to take home for half off. I love knitting in cotton, so I was impressed to find this on sale. Cotton yarn choices have not been plentiful when compared with wool, so this discovery made a lovely day spectacular. I like the idea of not having to wait for a server to place your order at a table especially for families and people pressed for time on a lunch hour or with a long to do list.
